GROUP B of the World Cup concludes on Monday with Morocco facing Spain. Our man Jamie Wright offers his betting preview and tips.

Spain v Morocco | Monday 22nd June 2018, 19:00 | BBC1

The Spanish really haven’t come into their own in this tournament yet, however they’re still sitting with four points after a draw against Portugal and a narrow win over Iran.

Morocco, on the other hand, are out of the competition already, having lost both their other group games. So, for Morocco, it’s about playing for pride, while Spain are playing for top spot – something that could well come down to goal difference.

While Spain haven’t been too impressive as yet, I back them to finally show us what they’re capable of in this game, and I expect them to score more than a single goal against the Moroccans.

The betting angles

The Moroccan defence isn’t a bad one, but their heads will be dropping thanks to their early elimination, and Spain have the quality to pounce on this.

So, I’m going to predict that Spain will be winning at both half-time and full-time – a selection that will get you odds of 20/21 at 188BET, which is fair considering the fact that Spain are such favourites for the game.

If you want something a little more adventurous though, why not try predicting the score? A 3-0 win for Spain has odds of 7/1, and this seems like a bet that offers absolutely fantastic value.
